From 2006 until he was appointed on the bench there, he was also the special consultant of the Alta Court of Allahabad. Subsequently, he was also the main permanent councilor of the state.

The current controversy broke after the non -accounting money was found in his home in Delhi while the high court was in his Holi break. The money was found by the firefighters called to eliminate a fire.

Following this, the College of the Supreme Court decided to transfer the judge Varma to his mother court, that is, the Alta Court of Allahabad. Sources reported that the judge of the Head of the Supreme Court Sanjiv Khanna had a very weak vision of this question and the Collegium tried an action to avoid clouded the image of the judiciary.

Judge Varma has not yet responded to these events and has not kept court today. His officials of the Court referred to the PTI news agency that the judge is “on leave”.

In the meantime, the high court of the Delhi, the judge DK Upadhyaya, who responds to the Senior defender Arun Bhardwaj mentioning this question in his court, admitted that he had been left “shaken”.
