School teacher arrested for filming, students with illegal videos

The police in the Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrested a government school teacher accused of shooting and blackmailing students with explicit videos, according to Express News.

The authorities recovered 91 questionable videos, equal to 32 GB of data, from the mobile phone of the suspect.

According to the police, the teacher had secretly recorded inappropriate videos of students and using them to blackmail them. The case came to light when the family of one of the victims received an obscene video on his mobile phone.

After confirming the authenticity of the video with her daughter, the family reported the question to the police, who recorded a case and started an investigation.

The complaint filed at the Lassan Nawab police station said that the victim’s brother received the video through Facebook Messenger. “When we opened the clip, it was a highly inappropriate video of my sister,” said the complaint.

The victim revealed that the teacher built the students in making explicit videos in the last two years. “He also blackmailed my classmates in the same way, threatening to share videos with our families and on social media,” he told the police.

The District Police Officer of Mansehra (DPO) Shafiullah Gandapur confirmed the arrest and said that a special investigative committee had been formed to further probe the matter.
